Reviews and Ratings
Staying at this hotel was a delightful experience overall. The rooms had a charming early 1900s appearance with lovely local decorations, a large tub, and a Jacuzzi. While the metal bars added an interesting touch, they were a bit distracting. The service was friendly and accommodating, although there was a missed opportunity to respond to a special request. The location, although slightly out of the central area, was picturesque with a beautiful garden nearby. The dining was a highlight with delicious Mexican-inspired dishes, although the cuisine was more American than expected.
Staying at Meson de los Poetas in Guanajuato was a delightful experience. The rooms were beautifully decorated with amazing taste and style, but the access might be a challenge for some due to the climb. The service was exceptionally attentive and helpful, going out of their way to ensure a perfect stay. The location in a quiet neighborhood near a park was lovely to explore, although not up to some expectations. The dining experience, offering a delicious menu, was a highlight. Overall, a charming hotel with great amenities and a few minor drawbacks.
I had a mixed experience at the hotel. While the rooms had a lovely view of the park across the road, the noise from the main street and creaky floorboards was quite bothersome. The service from Ana the Manager and the staff was exceptional, but the multitasking roles they seemed to perform affected the overall experience. The location, although beautiful and well-maintained, had its drawbacks, such as being on a busy bus route. The dining experience was delightful with period-appropriate details but could use a bit more variety. The hotel's facilities were adequate, with room for improvement.
